It does not dilute or weaken the paint like other paint additives that have little or no acrylic resin. When mixed with a top-quality latex paint or stain, PAINTBOOSTER’s water beading protection lasts for years. As it repels water and reduces water absorption, OKON PAINTBOOSTER helps prevent premature paint failure, wood rot and mold growth.

Use Instructions:
Use PAINTBOOSTER water repellent additive in the finish coat of any latex paint or stain. Select the proper coating (paint or stain) for the job and follow recommended surface preparation. If painting, prime previously unpainted surfaces with a proper primer. After stirring the paint or stain thoroughly, combine PAINTBOOSTER and the paint/stain in a container large enough to hold the combined volume of four-parts coating and one-part PAINTBOOSTER (example 5 quarts total : 1 gal. Paint + 1 qt. PAINTBOOSTER). Mix thoroughly and apply according to coating manufacturer’s application instructions. If spraying, protect adjacent areas from overspray.
